Ryan Jenkins.

Ryan Jenkins is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at California Polytechnic State University. He’s also a Co-Principal Investigator on NSF Award #1917712: Artificial Intelligence and Predictive Policing: An Ethical Analysis. Ryan examines the ethical and policy implications of technologies with the potential to profoundly impact human life, such as autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, and military technologies. As an Associate Professor of Philosophy at California Polytechnic State University, Ryan designs, develops, and serves as the instructor of record for philosophy classes including technology ethics and military ethics, for 270+ students per year. He is also a Senior Fellow at the Ethics + Emerging Sciences Group at Cal Poly where he examines the ethical and policy implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cyberwar, killer robots and autonomous vehicles.
