Branka Panic is a DataEthics4All Top 100 DIET Champion 2021, and the Founder of AI for Peace. AI for Peace is a San Francisco based think tank working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, peace, human security, democracy, human rights, and humanitarian action. They research the benefits, risks, and ethical implications of exponential technologies. Their vision is a future in which AI creates lasting peace. Branka is particularly excited about combining data-driven and human-centric approaches to solving some of the biggest global challenges: creating peaceful, just, and inclusive societies; eliminating poverty and hunger; combating climate change and its impacts; and enabling sustainable development and sustainable humanitarian action.
