DataEthics4All celebrates Black History Month 2021 with a list of Top 100 DIET Champions
February 01, 2021, San Jose, CA:
February marks the start of Black History Month, a federally recognized celebration of the contributions African Americans have made to this country and a time to reflect on the continued struggle for racial justice, according to USA Today.
The theme of Black History Month 2021 is “The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity,” chosen by the Association for the Study of African American Life and History.
Since the mission of DataEthics4All is to raise awareness on the Ethical use of Data, build the next generation of Inclusive AI and be a Catalyst in building a more Equitable, Inclusive, Culture Rich, Just and Ethical Society, we’ve decided to Celebrate Representation, Identity and Diversity with our very own list of Top 100 DIET Champions.
A DIET Champion is someone who has demonstrated exemplary work in the fields of Data and Diversity, Inclusion, Ethics and Equity in Technology.
Every day for the month of February, 2021; we’ll be revealing 4 DIET Champions daily (until we reveal all 100 DIET Champions) who’ve made it to our Top 100 List.
Check back daily to see if someone you know is being recognized and celebrated as a DIET Champion!
The 100 DIET Champions Criteria:
Our Selection of the Top 100 DIET Champions was based on these 3 Pillars: DIET Leadership, DIET Influence and DIET Impact.
