Beatriz Roque e Oliveira joins the DataEthics4All Foundation Leadership Team.

Thrilled to welcome Beatriz Roque e Oliveira as our newest Member of the DataEthics4All Foundation’s Leadership Team.

Beatriz Roque e Oliveira is a science communicator involved in a wide range of projects across the globe.

In addition to her work with the DataEthics4All Foundation as a content creator, she also carries out freelance work.

In 2022 Beatriz created her own brand – “The Unfiltered Scientist” – dedicated to communicating biology-related topics and discoveries to a broad audience.

Her primary goal in all her ventures is to make science more accessible to everyone and empower people to start healthier discussions surrounding the main issues our society faces today.

Prior to her work as a science communicator, Beatriz worked as a research technician at a preclinical trials company in the UK.

While she was born and raised in Portugal, Beatriz moved to Northern Ireland at 17, where she attended university.

In 2022, she graduated from Ulster University with a Bachelor of Science (with honors) in Biology.
