DataEthics4All, a Data Ethics First Organization is focused on STEM because we advocate for Ethics in Tech. Tech has a Diversity Problem. To build Diversity in Tech, we need STEM for ALL. A Bottom-Up Grassroots approach!

Job description

 

DataEthics4All is seeking highly motivated interns to assist with AI Survey design. The main purpose of the role is to provide effective support to the AI Survey Design Lead and wider team in the delivery of DataEthics4All outcomes and overall organizational objectives, undertaking such tasks as;  Planning, designing  and writing thoughtful AI surveys for our community of AI and Data Ethicists, Leaders, AI Youth Council, as well as Entrepreneurs and the  wider Business community to gauge and understand their views of our programs, events,  content and policies, be the primary point of contact, and  be responsible for building a long term relationship with our key stakeholders. The post holder will be responsible for capturing and analyzing the key data and metrics from  AI Surveys that have been submitted by the community and wider public, as well as drafting and  presenting reports on the findings. As an AI survey design intern you will demonstrate a deep understanding of how to ask the right questions and the psychology of human behavior.

As an intern you are a confident tech and survey design expert! Professional in your approach who can effectively coordinate, liaise, negotiate, and work with others (staff, volunteers, CEOs and Entrepreneurs of business) to achieve our goals.

 

You have the ability to accurately collate and analyze quantitative data from a large data set of questionnaire  responses, representing views shared without judgement or bias to produce insightful reports to help inform our broader Strategy.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

1. Design and write impactful AI quantitative surveys to inform our content, data stories, writing and PR and Marketing

2. Work with our existing marketing and data visualizations team, PR/Outreach to inform and communicate survey feedback from our key stakeholders.

3. Work with our wider leadership team to source relevant contacts for our AI surveys

4. Be familiar with our organizations’ ethical frameworks and standards

5. Create a database of  contacts with relevant survey leads

6. Able to Review current survey / stakeholder feedback and incorporate this into a report

7. Advise teams on survey metrics written and verbal briefings

8. To assist the wider team of volunteers on DataEthics4All other existing projects

9. Must ensure to keep abreast of latest news and landscape in Data, AI Ethics and Privacy issues and be able to link it to our existing programs and inform survey design and questionnaires

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

1. Minimum knowledge of survey design, awareness of qualitative and quantitative survey methodology.

2. Excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to liaise and collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders ( business leaders, CEOs,  the general public, DE4All community)

3. Considerable experience of being a part of a successful survey design and analysis project

Academic Partner.

Job description

DataEthics4All is seeking highly motivated interns to assist with our Academic Institutions Partnership program.  The main purpose of the role is to provide effective support to the Academic Institutions Partnership Lead and wider team in the delivery of DataEthics4All outcomes and overall organizational objectives, undertaking such actions as;  Planning, organizing, coordinating lasting long term partnerships with academic institutions, K-12 to Higher Education internationally, being the primary point of contact for our partners, and effectively building a long term, successful relationship with our network of universities, colleges and schools from K12 to Higher Ed. The post holder will be responsible for creating a contact list for our partners and updating the team and wider community on our collaborations internationally.

The main purpose of the role is to provide effective support to the PR, Media and Outreach Lead and wider team in the delivery of DataEthics4All outcomes and overall organizational objectives, undertaking such actions as; planning, organizing and coordinating media events and outreach to organizations and the media, being the primary point of contact for the press (local and national) and the wider public, and responsible for building a long term relationship with our selected media partners. The post holder will be responsible for capturing and analyzing key data and metrics from our community and wider public, as well as drafting and finalizing reports on the findings.

DataEthics4All is seeking creative and thoughtful interns to support with Events planning, researching and finding new sponsors, as well as  designing eye-catching and impactful brochures and adverts for  our upcoming Events globally. You would be responsible for reaching out to venues to build a network of contacts  who would be interested in hosting our global events launches.  The main purpose of the role is to provide effective support to the Events Planning Lead and wider team in the delivery of DataEthics4All outcomes and overall organizational objectives, undertaking such actions as; supporting the planning, organizing, coordinating of events, reaching out to venues globally that will give us maximum impact, and be the primary point of contact for this role, as well as being responsible for fostering a long term partnership with corporate venues.
