Terms of Use for DataEthics4All Foundation Challenges
1. Acceptance of Agreement
Welcome to DataEthics4All.org (and related sub-domains including the Community Platform and other websites owned by the DataEthics4All Foundation (the “Website”)).
By using the Website, you are indicating your agreement to these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms of Use”), including, without limitation, our Privacy Policy and our Content Usage Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use , please do not use the Website and exit now.
We may revise this Agreement at any time by posting an update to the Site. Your continued use of our Site after a posted change of this Agreement means that you agree to be bound by the changes, so please check the Agreement regularly for any changes.
You affirm that you are at least the age of majority where you reside, or an emancipated minor, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in this Agreement. You also affirm that you are able to abide by and comply with this Agreement.
Our Site is not intended for children under thirteen. You affirm that you are at least thirteen years of age. If you are under thirteen years of age, then please do not use the Site.
If you’re over 13 and under 18 registering for a Challenge on our Website, we require an acceptance of agreement from a parent or legal guardian.
2. User Account
You may need to set up an account in order to use some of the features of the Website.
You agree that the confidentiality of your username and password are your responsibility. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your username and password and to notify us immediately if you believe there has been any unauthorized use of your account or other breach of security.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any User account, and to reclaim or re-assign usernames without any liability to you. Usernames are displayed publicly on the Site. You agree not to create a username that is obscene or offensive to others, or impersonates any person or entity, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity. We reserve the right to reclaim usernames associated with accounts that are inactive for more than six months. We may also reclaim usernames on behalf of organizations or individuals, if they hold legal claim or trademark on those usernames.
3. Challenge Participation
Participation in a Challenge on our Website, including entering Submissions, is governed by this Agreement and the Official Rules posted on the Challenge Website/ Page.
You must first create a DataEthics4All Community account and join the Challenge to submit your entry to the Challenge. You need to follow all instructions stated on the Site in order to register and participate.
4. Ownership Rights of Submissions
You shall grant non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, all paid up, sub-licensable, unlimited usage rights into any and all Submissions made by you to DataEthics4All Foundation in connection with a Competition/ Challenge.
By entering into a Challenge and uploading a Submission, you hereby agree to grant license rights to DataEthics4All Foundation into copyright, patent, trade secret, moral right, and other intellectual property rights, in and to any and all such Submissions without the expectation of any payment or consideration of any kind.

6. Governing Law
This Agreement and its terms and conditions are governed by the law of the Court of Chancery in the State of Delaware, without reference to rules governing choice of laws. The Requestor submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Chancery located in Delaware. All disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Policy, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware. If for any reason any provision of this Agreement is adjudicated to be unenforceable, that provision of the Agreement will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible so as to effect the intent of the parties, and the remainder of this Agreement will continue in full force and effect.
